Do You Follow Us on Social Media?
If you would like to follow us on Facebook, click the icon at the bottom of the page.
Chances are though, that if you're reading this, you are already a follower on Facebook and/or Twitter. We try to keep folks informed of what is going on both at Triskelion, and in the world of brewing. Either by daily updates on interesting beer news that hits the internet, or via a heads up on what we're doing around the brewery.
Like anything, some days are more interesting than others, but we can say for sure, that every day (except Sunday), something new will be posted.
I also appreciate the feedback that I've received from folks who follow the posts daily. It really makes my day to hear that you guys and gals are enjoying my words.
This page if primarily for the folks who read the Triskelion posts on Facebook every day, and are surprised to hear that they missed a post (or several).
Even though we have over a thousand folks who like and follow Triskelion on Facebook, we only get around three hundred or so views a day. Most of that is because we don't pay for this stuff to show up in your feed.
The main reason you may not see all of our posts in your feed is the fact that Facebook filters which posts appear based on some complicated algorithm that they're always changing around (based on what they want you to see).
The easiest way to make sure you see what we have to post is to check the page every day. Like us on Facebook. Bookmark it or something. Don't rely on Facebook to just show it to you. They don't care if you want to see it. :)
Another option is to take a look at the picture showing the options under the "Following" button on our page. If you click "See First" and "On," you will have a better chance of seeing more of our posts (but probably still not all of them.
The last way to ensure that you see more of our posts is to interact with us. If you comment, or like the posts, you are more likely to see more of them.
Twitter is a bit more difficult. I actually use a third party app called TweetDeck to make sure I see all the folks I like to follow in Twitter. Otherwise it's madness. Tweetdeck lets you organize a few of the people you follow into small groups, and then only shows their tweets. I guess like a deck of cards.
I have small groups of five to ten people that I like to follow in each of my Tweetdeck groups. I split the groups up into stuff like, "local breweries," "beer bloggers," "folks who post to Triskelion alot." Stuff like that. That way, I can see all their stuff and filter out the nonsense.
If you like pictures, check out our Instagram account. Becky uploads new stuff all the time. (I don't know anything about Instagram).
We're in process of getting everything uploaded to Untapped if you play around with that App... and if you have any other beer oriented Apps that you love, let us know so that we can get involved with them.
So, that's it for now... See you all around the web...
